Yes. They’d been the Ants of Adam and the Ants. Adam Ant had to get other Ants.

All my stuff is long gone.

Yes, I think they did. Not as familiar with JD, though.

The pirate style blouse was sexy. :)That would be what they called, the "New Romantic," look.
To: nickcarraway
I listen to most of these frequently in my rotations.

Oh, yaaaaas...it was. And the breeches and high boots. ;D lol...yep. Not a serious act, in my estimation, but he was fun. My old high school buddy wanted me to see him in concert with her in 2013, but I got a darned kidney infection.

Yes...right on the terminology!

A. I just barely recall the first one. I always thought a girl was singing.
B. I don’t recall this Patti Smyth, but I do recall a Patti Smith who looked the opposite of this pretty girl.
The Patti Smith I recall had an album called ‘Horses’.
She was like a female Tom Waitts. Dressed like a Peter Pan in loose, dirty clothes.
C. No recollection of this group, but I know the song ‘Only The Lonely, by Roy Orbison.
***I saw another flashback one hit wonder; Quarter Flash with
‘Harden My Heart’. That was a very good song. Only that singer could have done it. She had just the right voice,
young, fey and rueful.
