Here in Arizona, Jack tacos were two for $0.99 for decades, but have gone up. Two for $1.29 in Surprise, AZ last weekend. Still taste as good as ever, anyway.
After I made enchiladas and put the leftovers in the fridge, I always heat some up the next morning and top them with a couple of fried eggs for breakfast.
Delicious!
Sounds awfully like a beef burrito to me, but the thousand island idea is awful. Californians think all Mexican food has to have a dollop or two of sour cream so I guess this is the new idea.
I can’t imagine the taste of hot sauce on Thousand Island without gagging so I’ll pass.
Enchiladas montadas con heuvos. The only way to go.
I gotta stop talking about this stuff, it’s making me famished.
I learned some Italian cooking from ex in-laws. Just enough to be able to make good sauce and fig cookies, stuffed artichokes. but I’m kind of a natural cook, so I can make almost anything except gourmet stuff.
Jack Tacos have not changed in 40 years!
I worked there in High School.
Those were the Days!

2 for a buck!<<<
Be sure to ask for their Salsa. It’s the best.
