I feel for the owners. Cats and dogs are both miraculous beings. The anthropomorphism—i.e., gooey sentimentality—turns me off.

We lost our golden 3 months ago and we are still in mourning. We hope to get another golden in a few months and spend a lot of our retirement years with her.
God is all powerful but I think He would be hard pressed to put any more love than is in a golden. Total and pure love.
