To be fair, Mrs. Obama has had some very nice outfits that actually fit her properly and did what a well-designed outfit is supposed to do, enhance the positives and mask the negatives. Sadly, she tried to be avant-garde and failed a lot. Her physique does not lend itself to what a stick-figure and often very young model can get away with.
Mrs. Trump will be expected to be perfect all the time, which should be easier for her considering her model background and physique, but that doesn’t mean everything she wears will be liked by all. My mother didn’t like her ball gown but did like what some of the daughters were wearing.
