If you’re trying to force former Atlantans to remember what “MARTA” spelled out, it worked
Not really my primary goal but it is an enlightening insight to the matter. As a former Atlantan, do you think I've provided a plausible answer to the previous poster's question on the staffing at Hartsfield's vendors?
Who but an idiot who doesn’t know good food eats anything from Popeye’s anyway?
All of the one’s around here sit empty all the time.
The ticket at ATL is Varasano’s. Quality Napoletana-style pizza.
Bo Bice needs to watch ghetto vids on liveleak. I have never heard the terms “crispy” or “high yellow” in my life. I have never heard black people call other black people, and everyone for that matter, “ni6634” every time all the time. Just take a gander. Black thugs will fight with white police and call the cops “ni6634” a hundred times. BUT!!! a white person shouts back “ni6634” once while being stomped by poor Trayvon and poor little Trayvon becomes the victim.
Glad you like pizza, as for me, I’ve disliked it since I was in my 20s and wouldn’t cross the street for a slice.
I’m going to guess that Atlanta’s vendors are under an affirmative action mandate, which got interpreted to mean that NO white person may be hired if any qualified black candidates exist.
The City of Atlanta runs the airport, and the concessionaires have been a plaything of the city power structure for decades. No AA mandate required.
Realize that the City of Atlanta is around 10% of the population of the metro area, and I think you’ll get it.
“The employees did nothing wrong that I can see “
Really? If you owned this business would you condone employees treating any customer this way?
While most white guys would have handled this differently; Bo Bice was exactly right about what he said. He’s obviously a mellow pacifist; the kind sheepdog types are supposed to protect.
When I read stories like this I just know the damage done by the race baiter in chief for the last 8 years is going grow into a full blown race war someday. Not nationwide; just where a high population of blacks live. I can’t stand it that black people in these inner cities have no national pride or pride in themselves for that matter. That they think they are entitled to something for doing nothing. And just their all around crappy attitude about everything and everyone. Screw ‘em. Let them go back to Africa if they are going act like they belong there. I’d even chip in for the boat ride for them.
We all know lots of good and decent black people but even the ones we looked up to for generations turned out to abuse women by giving them roofies and taking advantage of them. Sheesh; how is anyone supposed to trust a single one now? I didn’t have these kind of thoughts or questions in my mind 8-9 years ago; it’s a new change in attitudes by blacks. Now that SOB obunghole is going to keep race agitating instead of doing what an honorable and decent person would do after leaving the WH. Take a long break, stay quiet, and retire while trying to do something good. Not him though. Nope.
Geez, this is Popeyes, a fast-food joint. Professional? You're expecting a lot from "$15/hour" minimum wage entry level workers. When I go to a fast food place, I expect fast, not linen table clothes and fine silverware and a waiter with a folded linen napkin over his arm.
If you're expecting professionalism, you're looking in the wrong places.
Well, if I overheard some employees in a place referring to me, in the third person, as “the white boy over there” or “the white guy over there” to help identify me, I would not feel offended in the least.
But then I’m not a special snowflake in any degree. Perhaps some of us have some degree of that in their character -— and that is unfortunate. Anyhow, I’m not going to be saying “sorry if I offended you”.
If your white and the fast food crew is all black, your better off going hungry. There’s no telling what will happen to your food, that bubbly white stuff ain’t special sauce.
I guess I was referring more to the employees taunting him because of his name, in context of the business. If this is how the employees treat one customer, they do it to many. And the next guy may not tear up; he may take a punch. Overall, the employees are bad for business.
This Bo guy (I have never heard of him) absolutely does have ridiculously thin skin to get tears in his eyes for ANY of this. He is a buttercup for sure.
About 35 years ago I bought a turkey leg and a glass of milk at a New York deli. The clerk handed it to me and said, “lunch, for the non Kosher tourist.”
Do you all think the statute of limitations has run out on this hate crime? He mocked my goyim appetite and, as I recall the day, I feel so aggrieved. /s
Same thing happened to me in a New Orleans Popeye’s in 1995. The order on the mic placed for me was “White boy wants a three piece”. I thought it was funny. I was (am) white, and they didn’t get to be. So sad.
Oh BS. Racism is racism and it is disgusting no matter the colors involved.
That white kid in Chicago...do you discount that the blacks who kidnapped and tortured that “white boy” does not matter?
Racism is hatred and it is violent and it is wrong and everyone should raise heck any time they witness it or are targeted by it.
Black racists are the most viscous of all modern America’s racists.
I guess I’m just not as “sensitive” as you. I’m incapable of conflating some Popeye’s employee referring (in the third person to aid in identification), in normal conversation, to a customer as “that white person there” or “that white guy there” with the behavior (and words) of the black racist Chicago kidnappers/torturers. IMHO, the 2nd is racist and the first is NOT racist.
But, as I’ve said, I may not be as sensitive as you as I have zero percent of special snowflake in my character.
...or “that white boy there”.
