Virtually every attempt at forced integration has failed miserably, dragging the student body as a whole down to the lowest common denominator and increasing racial tension. It’s not done to help anybody, it’s done to punish success and weaken the strong.
Preserving local governments and schools would require so-called conservatives getting off their fat butts, organizing and getting involved. I don’t know if that’s possible. There’s kitchen additions to build, ribs to barbecue, Mammon to worship, etc., etc.
