So some representatives from a few countries declining to attend a ridiculous arm flailing emergency meeting about the proper response to an american election (a meeting the likes of which, to my knowledge, has never happened before), is now considered “chaos”

To the would-be EU hive mind in Strasbourg, defiance and insubordination to central authority are chaos

First these countries refuse to attend meetings
Next they refuse .... ?

Ironically, the German foreign minister had wanted to demonstrate that the EU was capable of rapid response when it came to foreign policy.

Rapid response? So...let me get this straight. The people responsible for making long-term strategic decisions with respect to the European Union were caught unprepared when the U.S. held an election? As if we've never had one before? And inasmuch as there were only two serious candidates, are we to believe that somehow these avatars of advanced strategic thought couldn't come up with a contingency plan in case either one got elected, at some point before five days after the election?

I know why the Brits and the French bailed out. They were afraid it might be contagious.

Wait...Trump hasn't been President Elect for a week yet...

And the winning just keeps piling on.

I guess we all enrolled in winning 101.

There was a huge pedophile ring exposed [though our press coverage was worthless] in Europe not long ago involving a lot of the elected elite in one country, forget which.

“Worthless” and the American media are now nearly synonymous.

It’s something that Pravda is now more reliable than many, if not most, American newspapers.

Heck, it’s gotten so bad that the National Inquirer (”Minds that need examining want to know.” — Ray Stevens) seems at times more reputable than many of these rags!

And as for broadcast news: meh and feh all at once.

“If Trump wanted to look statesmanlike to Europe, receiving Farage was probably the worst thing he could [do].”

Translation: Oh crap, we're in trouble!
