Rural part of Ontario. Was a conservative area but they were without a voice as Toronto and other big cities overwhelmed us every time. Not unlike states like New York and Illinois.
Maybe if I can get a work visa and my job leads me there!
That’s probably years away. I am not interested in cutting corners like many people do.
Welcome back!
Best of luck with your studies.
Graduate school was frustrating and stressful, but I can honestly say that the time invested in it was well spent.
Welcome from Michigan, you’re former close neighbor country.

Welcome aboard.
So, you are suggesting these liberals who are suffering from nausea and moving into Canada will have no remedy to be found there? Empty basins?
Canada Dry Ginger Ale is remembered from childhood as being the thing to drink to calm an upset stomach. Now it is remembered as being a mixer with alcohol
Ha, ha, *~belch~*
;-)
But you have to start in order to get it done.....it takes years because of the red tape.....start early
Unless of course you are just down here to take advantage of our university system and then will go away when its convenient
I survived years as an undergrad surrounded by socialists and even communists...so it can’t be as bad now?
Correct unless they stick to somewhere like Toronto or Vancouver (or Montreal if they know French). And it costs an exorbitant amount of money to live in those cities.
Not at all! The opportunities in my career field are almost nil in Canada. They are much better down here.
“you dont remember what logon you used?”
Yeah, that kinda jumped out at me, too.
Nigerian Prince warning.
“Hi there. I’m a “new” member - actually I have been on here under a different name (I honestly can’t remember it) over 10 years ago.”
Mmmm hmmm.
I have been skeptical over ten years ago.
The only thing that could make me more skeptical would be someone saying they live in “the southern USA attending my graduate school.”
“I lived in Canada then and did for 30+ years but I am now in the southern USA attending my graduate school.”
Bingo!

“I am sick of all the political correctness and extreme cost/tax increases that are being seen...”
“... and not doing war crimes at all.”
“... in liberal regions (I saw it when in Canada, where my region - somewhat conservative - was being badly outnumbered by big city liberals).
“I’m now in a fairly red state, and it is so much cheaper. I’m hoping I find a job (and a career) here after I finish this degree, although it all depends on maintaining and gaining visa status. I love it compared to before!
“Despite initial skepticism of Trump, I have definitely warmed to him and certainly agree that Hillary was highly corrupt...#ByeByeCrookedHillary!”

Best wishes for your post-graduate studies, too. I’m in NC and, if you’re here, you’ll encounter some of the finest profs in America :)
