Don’t beat yourself up. When the head of the Bureau does things to cause the Bureau to be referred to as “The Fix Be In,” it takes some real action to prove redemption.
If Comey “gives in” and releases the data without a warrant, Human and Hillary can likely never be prosecuted using any of that information. It’s almost as good as a pardon. If this information is released without a warrant, the Fix may still Be In.
Promising, but it's still a bit early. I'm more of a cynic.
Maybe Comey will avoid going down in history as “Jimmy the Weasel” after all.
Maybe he saw that Obama and Clinton held the cards to avoid justice if he pressed the case earlier (DOJ override, Presidential pardon), so he strategically timed his move to secure Justice in the end.
Maybe.
This is awful for Clinton, but the alternative may have been worse. It seems to me that the FBI has stepped in and has essentially put a black out on these emails being disclosed. It seems that the DOJ is not forcing a warrant , so it is possible that the FBI action puts these possibly damning beyond belief emails into legal limbo.
Sounds like the corruption is at the DoIJ, not the FBI.
