Yes. San Antonio also elected a very liberal mayor in Julian Castro who then left to be HUD secretary for Obama. I hope with all my being that Trump wins, but with immigration and a dumbed down populace, it is my feeling that we are becoming a liberal socialist country. I see it even in my red state of South Dakota, and in my children’s catholic school among their peers. The culture is rotten, from TV to music and the language they speak. I am not a concern troll, I have been here at free republic a long time. I pray for Trump’s win, but let’s not bury our head in the sand. Until we change our culture and values we can’t fix the root of what is wrong in America.
Chump Hemmer during the primaries ran the state ‘big board’ always wrong and always late for Trump. He’s a clown.
There’s reports of early voters in Texas having their Trump votes switched to Hillary by the machines. So they need a poll showing Hillary close to pull it all off.
While there is no doubt that the media selective reports the worst polls for Trump while ignoring those that show him close to a statistical tie with Hillary, anyone who thinks that this will be anything but a close race and an uphill battle for Trump isn't a "concern troll," he's just acknowledging certain cultural and demographic facts.
Obama won by a wide margin in 2008 and was re-elected by a smaller but solid margin in 2012. Voter fraud doesn't explain all or even most of that. Voter stupidity does. We're becoming a "minority majority" country thanks to immigration and differential patterns of birthrate. The millenial generation, with rare exceptions like our servicemen, is solidly "progressive" (i.e. cultural Marxist) on most issues. We still have a chance to win this and to turn things around, but anyone who thinks that with current demographic and social trends Trump will get anything like Reagan's 1984 landslide is living in a cloud cuckoo land (does that make me a "concern troll" too?)
The parking lot at my polling place is full with numerous cars drving up and down looking for a parking spot.
It is crowded. This is in Katy tx., Cinco Ranch area across from La Centera.
They must be polling the polling machines, which are solidly for Clinton.
Very much agreed. We'd have a better chance moving to Belize.
I tuned him out weeks ago as all he does is show how it will be a Hillary landslide with his maps every morning.
any problems with your machines?
They need fake pole numbers to explain a win in a rigged election.
Look everything you see and read is all about repressing Trump turnout.. .nothing more.
Hillary is stuck at 42/43% and her only shot at winning has always been to keep Trump voters dejected and at home.
Any poll showing Hillary down 3 in TX is clearly cherry picking its sample to certain urban centers in the state.
I haven’t heard of any problems. I think that people are being very thorough since the incident in Amarillo.
When a cowboy is hungry and sitting around the old camp fire, any old weiner will do!
You can stream Beaumont television (Jefferson County is a democrat stronghold) and there are exactly ZERO Clinton ads.
If she was that close, it would be pelted with them.
Just shows how much garbage those lying liberal media polls are.
FOX News is a sewer like the rest. No difference.
Re: Trump up just 3% in Texas
If that’s accurate, it’s a completely reasonable number.
According to the US Census Bureau 2015 data on Texas:
White - 43%
Hispanic - 39%
Black - 12.5%
As to total eligible and registered voters in Texas, Blacks and Hispanics are about 35%, perhaps a little higher.
That means white voters must turn out in large numbers, plus about 75% of white Texans need to vote for Trump, or else Clinton has a very real chance of winning the state.
But, but FOX said this morning we can rely on independent polls... like FOX.
With machines already flipping Republican votes to Democrat votes in Texas, she just might get the numbers. It will take a lot of flipping but she has Mr. Voting Machine Owner Soros helping.
Lots of concern trolls on this thread...
By way of reference, in 2008, which was as close to a landslide as Dems have seen in modern history, McCain carried the state by 12 points - 55.4 to 43.6. That's an enormously popular candidate, motivating sections of the electorate that don't normally vote, running against an unpopular candidate who had a fair percentage of his electorate stay home. And the unpopular guy still won by twelve.
This year, if Texas is as close as 20 points, I'll be shocked.
This Texan has not seen one Clinton sign. She has plenty of tv ads vs. zero for Trump here.
