“Spookey , huh ?
Now cross tabulate that with all the meta data from Cablevision, cellphone, insurance companies,
banks , medical data, and now you know the complexity of maintaining privacy !”

It is hard enough with what you posted and the rest of us have replied to this thread.

Then, those who use social media all the time with photos and tons of personal data explains why No Such Agency has been building those massive data storage areas.

I used to watch Person of Interest until it became so violent. In one of the earlier shows, the guy who invented the massive surveillance equipment and program said, “Getting data on individuals used be somewhat difficult until the Social Media frenzy came on the scene. After that it became harder to do the searches due to all of the volunteered data by individuals to their social media accounts.

Do they have the one with my double chin?

That’s a relatively recent development.

:-)

“I wonder what % of people are in a DNA system. If you have enough, it would be easy to track down criminals who are related to someone in the system. Or of course, it could be used possibly in some more nefarious way.”

The opposite side of this in Californicator land is how our legislature has refused to provide funds and DNA help to identify thousands of dna samples from rape victims.

The liberals have controlled our legislature for a long time and Moonbeam has been our rerun governor for a long time. Yet these liberals that fund anything for illegals and criminals have not released funds to do DNA search on the backlog of rape cases.

So, whom are they protecting by not getting the DNA identified in those rape cases?

“When I renewed my Texas drivers license last year, I had to remove my glasses for my photo. When I asked why I was told it was for photo recognition, so I guess I’m in the system.”

BOL, yes you are in the system.

California recently passed a law, that Honorably Discharged Vets, after proving they were honorably discharged, could get a new California Driver’s license stating that you are a vet.

After getting my certification, I went to the DMV. Even though I had gone through the fingerprints and photos a few months before, I had to go through the full ID process again.

I was fingerprinted and got my mug shot to get my new driver’s license. One of our younger adult relatives, who is a tech weenie, said the amount of data on that magnetic strip is incredible. He said to refuse stores like Target that want to run your Ca. Driver’s license ID through their scanning machines each time you want to buy any liquor, a single bottle of wine or a six pack or a cart full of booze.

I am listening to the Jeff Kuhner show, he is revealing that 4 million dead people are still on the voting lists. One voter died in 1944!

The Democrats want all those dead people on the voting list they want to keep voting crooked. The Republicans do not want to seriously challenge the Democrats probably because the Democrats are such nasty alley fighters and because the top Republicans have to make deals with the Democrats.

Physician’s offices also want to take your picture. Usually have a computer camera at the check-in desk. I have refused to have my picture taken and always turn the camera so it can’t see me.

I’m a real bastard when it comes to personal privacy. I’ve started backing into parking places at the big box store. Foils the license plate scanners that cruise the parking lots snapping away. (South Carolina doesn’t require a front plate.)

I know that all personal privacy invasion can’t be prevented but I do what I can.

What is amazing is my little Chromebook in 1.3 seconds was able to search over 25 billion photos.

About 25,270,000,000 results (1.30 seconds)

I did that setting on my Lazy Boy recliner via a fairly fast wifi setup with Google’s on line photo recog search app.
