You know who is in power because they are the ones you can’t criticize.
Since liberals’ offense is reason enough to ban words and costumes, criticizing Islam gets you banned from public positions, or point out BLM’s calls for violence against whites and cops it clearly isn’t the “privileged” Christians, whites or conservatives.
Don't you mean "hyper-intelligent pan-dimensional beings"?
I'm right there with you. The trouble is, under our system, it can be difficult to determine exactly who is a lizard, and who is not. Is Trump a lizard? Possibly, but given the way all the rest of them are reacting to him, there is a strong possibility he isn't. Hillary, on the other hand was born a lizard, and has remained one through and through. Makes the choice a no brainer for me.
"More...I cannot say."
“Trump shines a spotlight on who is running the country.”
The parallels are neat, but Douglas Adams wrote this bit after visiting Italy - Where elections and corruption are simply par for the course.... We are getting close to that so the parallels are even clearer.
Many people, ESPECIALLY those here at FR need to understand that Trump -used to be- friends with these people. But I believe that he’s now “seen the light” and is out to destroy what he once was part of.
He knows that while it’s cool to be one of the Elites, the Elites don’t have a plan to hold onto it. His family, his kids and grandkids will inherit a terrible land where they will have no opportunity. That’s important to him.
Tell people to think about when gang members leave their gangs, and then speak out against them. You can’t keep looking at them and wagging your finger - “Yeah ! You YOU USED TO BE PART OF A GANG!”. They deserve legitimacy.
So yes, Trump has relationships with the enemy. But I really believe that he’s had enough of it and has divided himself from it - And now wants to destroy it.
I was thinking about this during the 2nd debate. Trump, Rodham/Clinton and Vanderbilt all on a stage pretending that they don’t know each other. It was kabuki theater. All of these people know each other, have had dinner together and share a lot of things in common.
But to watch the two parties gang up on the third was also telling.
Trump is NOT like the Douglas Adams stories. He is the reluctant leader. He wouldn’t be running for president, even though he had plenty of chances. He had plenty of chances to run for all sorts of offices but he hasn’t. Only now that things are so bad that “What have you got to lose?” has he done this.
