ALWild Card (TBS): Toronto over the Orioles
NL Wild Card (ESPN): San Francisco over the Mets
ALDS (TBS): Toronto over Texas
3 for 3 so far
Starting to shape up this year.
The only one that looks like it will go the other way is Boston losing to the Tribe. Boston is a funny deal. They are the top scoring team in the MLB like they were a few years ago, but in the playoffs then, as now, their bats basically want silent and they got beat.
It’s OK, I like the possibility of this being Cleveland’s year in pro sports.
Appropriate way for the Rangers to end their season.
If only it was a boxing match, the Rangers would have won.
Cleveland sweeps Boston out
Bye bye Bosox.
3 for 4 so far.
Maybe it’s Cleveland’s year. Maybe two teams competing for “density” - Cleveland and the Cubs.
Arrieta hits a 3 run bomb off Bumgarner! Bye Bye SF?
Guess it’s the Cubs year after all. 6 of Chicago’s 9 RBIs in this series so far are from pitchers.
If it is Back to the Future was one year off.
Giants bullpen is killing them.
That’s a tough one.
Oh well. Let’s go Tribe!
Story of the season this year. That’s why I kind of gave up on them this year. Their once best-in-baseball bullpen was a disaster and I was unhappy not seeing them trying to fix it. Well, they may have done some things but not enough.
It’s a shame to see such a valiant effort go to waste tonight. Hope the Giant’s front office really gets serious about an ace, light-out closer this year, maybe two of ‘em.
I like the Tribe too.
