Per ESPN, Bridgewater dislocated his knee and tore his ACL.

"A knee dislocation occurs when the thigh bone and shin bone lose contact between each other."

Dislocating your knee involves injuring just about every piece of connective tissue in the knee. The good news is that the blood vessels and nerves appear to be OK.

This is a gruesome injury that will be difficult to repair and will impact his career in the NFL. The injury was during a non-contact segment of practice today. This diagnosis explains why his teammates knew instantly the magnitude of the injury.

Prayers up for a good young man.
