The latest in the email scandal plaguing the campaign of Democrat presidential nominee Hillary Clinton has provided proof of what many on the right have known all along that then-Secretary of State Clinton left Americans to die in Benghazi.
Defense Secretary Leon Panetta gave testimony in 2013 stating that there was no time to get help to Benghazi, Libya on Sept. 11, 2012, where four Americans died. An email obtained by Judicial Watch and recently released appears to be in direct contradiction of this claim.
Fox News reported that an urgent email from Panettas Chief of Staff Jeremy Bash to top Clinton deputies asked for help as the attack unfolded in Benghazi and stated that forces were ready to move to assist them:
I just tried you on the phone but you were all in with S [apparent reference to then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton]. After consulting with General Dempsey, General Ham and the Joint Staff, we have identified the forces that could move to Benghazi. They are spinning up as we speak.
The email was sent during the early stages of the eight-hour attack at 7:19 p.m. Washington time on Sept. 11, 2012, after the first wave of the attack on the diplomatic outpost but before the mortar strike that killed former Navy SEALs Ty Woods and Glen Doherty, who were working as private CIA security contractors.
The non-profit watchdog group Judicial Watch said this in a statement about the information revealed in the email:
This leaves no doubt military assets were offered and ready to go, and awaiting State Department signoff, which did not come.
This email proves that there was time and that there were forces available to assist in the Benghazi attack that resulted in the death of four Americans: Ty Woods, Glen Doherty, Sean Smith and Ambassador Chris Stevens.
While the information is new to the public, lawmakers investigating the case already had access to the email, according to Matt Wolking, spokesman for the House Select Committee on Benghazi.
This new revelation is proof that the Obama administration lied about its ability to send forces to assist in Benghazi.
The email also clearly shows that while Americans were under siege in Benghazi, Clinton was likely more concerned with spinning the lie that the attacks occurred because of an internet video.
Anyone who is more concerned with spinning a false narrative than they are with American lives has no business being commander in chief.
I’ve said it before and I’m saying it again.
Imo, the whole thing was a setup by the Obama Regime meant to provide a living hostage (Mr. Scott) to the jihadiscum that could then be ransomed back to the US for several million dollars of direct aid to an enemy.
I also believe that the event was meant to allow the jihadiscum to take possession of sensitive intel at the consulate.
The defense mounted by the few brave men enraged the jihadiscum enough that they killed Mr. Scott.
Why do you suppose the Obama administration is pretending that the $400 million paid to Iran as ransom for the hostages held by that country was not actually ransom, but instead was a settlement of a claim — a claim that we now know was rejected in the courts in 2009?
Ambassador Stevens. Mr. Scott was the engineer on the Enterprise.
And I also disagree in that it was for ransom but it was to be an exchange for the Blind Shiek that exists evidence there was some sort of deal in the making two weeks prior from leaked State Department sources. I heard of the story two weeks before 9/11/12.
I figure Hillry could not allow our military any where near her weapons depot.
Whatever it is....no one who gets their news from the MSM will hear about it. When they see it in ads...won’t believe it because it’s not in the news.
There is no Smoking Gun when the Clinton’s are involved... that’s been proven over and over. Nothing seems to stick to them. If she committed murder on live TV nothing would happen and her followers wouldn’t even notice.
I believe they cooked up the story in advance about the internet video being the cause of the attack. Hillary had invited representatives of 26 governments and four international organizations to Washington D.C. in December 12-14, 2011. It was to implement United Nations Human Rights Council Resolution (UNHRC) 16/18 on Combating Intolerance, Negative Stereotyping and Stigmatization of, and Discrimination, Incitement to Violence and Violence Against, Persons Based on Religion or Belief. By tying internet criticism of Islam to the Benghazi attacks, she was working to begin the first steps in censoring speech on the internet.
Heh. Got me. Mr. Scott. What was I thinking? Maybe I should have thought that pre-dawn commenting isn’t smart?
There were forces 30 mins away in Sigonella
I’m sure Hillary! was in this up to her flabby turkey-like neck, but why does POSOTUS get any sort of pass? He was in the freakin’ White House - probably fluffing Reggie - but he was around to do that whole commander-in-chief gig that he’s paid to do.
WHO is Mr. Scott????
Will ANYONE do anything about this?? ANTONE???
Democrats are Law-Less because Republicans are BALL-LESS!!!
OTOH, see, a woman can become a POTUS, perhaps not a great one, but a POTUS nonetheless.
While I agree with what yr saying based on events so far....How is she gonna escape when Trump throws such matters at her live in the debates.
So far the MSM have protected them, no such protection is available in the debates, unless a moderator tries, but should a moderator try to protect her, then that will allow Trump to rip the MSM apart as well as Killary.
This is why they are all so desperate to take Trump out before the debates....Trump knows this and is just setting up the debates, by constantly pointing out her faults...come the debates he will demand answers.
Not one dime should have been made available. They are a terrorist nation.
And those hostages should have been released as a pre-requisite to sitting down BEFORE any treaty terms could begin.
If Clinton is elected, her “presidency” will be one big Lie, marked by attacks on law-abiding citizens with lawless government agencies.
