sadly, many people are strapped....strapped to bills, strapped to jobs...

Strapped to family. People ask why I still live in South San Francisco when I could live anywhere else (retired, successful, have everything I could want). Family obligations. My wife wants to stay put, she has power of attorney over her elderly mom's affairs and we're busy taking care of her and her assets. Currently remodeling her home, taking her to medical offices, half the week. None of my wife's siblings are up to the task of helping, and don't. Not to mention babysitting grandchildren while our daughters work, and helping other relatives.

I keep telling myself someday, someday, as I get older and older. But family comes first (I recall seeing this in a Jimmy Stewart film, not that I would ever fill his shoes).

Yea I grew up in a small town, under the thought of Sovoet nukes and Soviet invasion. I like to think of mine as the Red Dawn generation. We always had plans for what we do if the Russians came (as good of plans as you can have when your a little kid playing with toy guns haha).

Anyway it sure is sad that we have to think of similar things but with our own govt being the Soviets....

Oh I am not depressed, and as a student of history know of many situations that were worse than our own. And when thinking about these things while I was younger, I never worried about the fight. But when you get older, and start a family, you look at those wonderful young kids and hope to God and all that is holy, that they do not have to fight.

What saddens me the most is how we (the collective American we) have let everything get this far.

Anyone who thinks that the federal goons are 10-foot-tall Rambos hasn’t taken a walk through a federal bureaucratic office recently.

One major problem that I see is the few dozen inbred musloid retards have managed to infiltrate every level of every division of every agency that composes our government including the top levels of our military.

I wouldn’t be in the least surprised if they haven’t also managed to infiltrate every level of every division of every major corporation that headquarters in the USA.

If by chance there is a position that haven’t achieved I’m confident that they have a Liberal in place who is feeding them any data they request.

And we are so damn confident of ourselves. Humph! I’m not sure we could win the fight because I don’t think we have three percent who are willing to form a militia, fight and die for America anymore.
