FYI, I believe facebook will still have your data saved in their database (even though you permanently deleted it) but your content wont be public and if you want to create an account you will need to start all over.

Not concerned. Nothing on there to hide. I just don’t want it there because if I post what I think about what’s going on, I’m going to be unemployable.

If you deactivate and keep it deactivated (I suggest you delete the app from your cell phone) no one can see what you wrote in the past and you wont be able to write anything new until you log into it again (I think just merely logging in will reactivate it).

Can malware be instilled into new content of a Facebook account—incorporated to existing content on the account—make the contents of the account unpalatable?
