Yea, I got that email too. But, since I’ve been watching the convention on TV I likely wouldn’t see my name on the jumbotron if it did make it there.

That is bad advice. The email referred to is authorized by the Trump campaign. Unless you are authorized to speak on their behalf, or have a darn good reason for telling people to ignore their emails, you might want to rethink your position. Have you done any research at all on the matter?
I don’t blame you, many are confused, and if you choose the Trump site (I normally but not always use that) it’s fine, but the campaign is now trying to raise money by several means, and for several purposes, rather than hoping people will find their site. If in doubt, why don’t you contact the campaign? You will find that the email is legit.
