Not a daily driver but I try to get it out more often than 3 days a year!
It's not particularly fast (has a stovebolt 6 in it) not the most elegant (whaddya want- it's a truck!) but it's a head-turner and it's paid for.

The ‘71 Mach 1 is a great looking car, but the problem with it is rear visibility. When you sit in the driver’s seat, the angle of the back-light gives you an effective view of only about one foot in height.

The 71 Mach 1 is a great looking car, but the problem with it is rear visibility. Obscure reference from the movie "Gumball Rally":
Franco: "And now my friend, the first-a rule of Italian driving...
[Franco rips off his rear-view mirror and throws it out of the car]
FRanco: "What is-a behind me is not important!"

Personally driven while in High School: 1968 426 Tri-Power GTO, 1970 454 Corvette (Went sideways shifting into 4th gear when getting on the freeway), 1972 Ford Bronco with a Boss 302, 1965 Mustang 289HiPro (my first car!), 1970 Mach 1 351 Cleveland 4bbl. Ever rode in 1968 Dodge Super Bee. 1 of 7 made by the factory. My brother bought in San Francisco first week back from Vietnam. Fastest car I have ever been in PERIOD!

Forgot to add my dad’s 1970 500 c.i. front wheel drive Eldorado. It would eat hemi “Cuda’s” stop light to stop light.
1965 327 Corvette. It was cool but I wasn’t impressed with the performance and getting in on with my girlfriend behind the seats was tricky.

LOL! Italian accents can be hilarious. I grew up with Italian families in Detroit. So , I know.
