Reading some of the comments lends humor to a long day that didn’t have much.
I’m an avid cyclist. Rode 40 miles this afternoon. BUT, these things can be expected in the wilderness. I’ve ridden mountain bikes there myself. I am sorry for this cyclists and his friends and family. He will never be replaced in their lives.
Still, there are 370 million humans in the country. Grizzlies? A few thousand at the most. We can stand to lose one or two, occasionally and never miss a beat.

Here in Washington state they import three or four grizzlies a year. One would think that the grizzlies coming across the Cascade Mountains would suffice, but of course since only white folks go out hiking, according to the one, the grizzlies are a good mechanism to eliminate white folks.
