Chester Alpaugh, 35, pleaded guilty Thursday (June 9) to vehicular manslaughter in connection with a July 2015 car crash near a Fontainebleau neighborhood church that fatally injured New Orleans attorney Robert Henry Sarpy, 75. (Courtesy of Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office)
Read the whole article. Drinkin, fightin, car chases and a dead attorney.
Hey...he said he was sorry...knock it off!
So, digging through the plea deal, it looks like he’ll end up doing 3 years in prison.
No mention of his blood alcohol level, but it sounds like the drinking may have started before the Catholic wedding instead of waiting for the reception.
I’m thinking: Not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
What does a wedding have to do with this incident. Neither person was getting or just got married.
Not sure the details were articulated in the article. 30 years for vehicle manslaghter is a bit harsh. In Maine He would get a couple years unless he had many drunk driving convictions previously.
Betcha his nickname in school was ‘Alpo’.
The “good” news is, Barry Soetoro will be letting him out after doing a couple of weeks in prison. Big election coming up don’t you know.
“Read the whole article. Drinkin, fightin, car chases and a dead attorney.”
So, no real loss.
“Barry Soetoro will be letting him out after doing a couple of weeks in prison. Big election coming up dont you know.”
No, Bubba does not look like one of Obama’s sons.
Louisiana used to have a real problem with drunk drivers (imagine that) so they did something about it. Now Louisiana is one of the states you do not want to be caught drunk driving in. They’ll nail ya to that wall.
Pig-boy started his deadly drunk act at the wedding.
New Orleans police said Alpaugh had been arguing with his brother at a July 11, 2015, wedding inside St. Rita Catholic Church at Broad Place and Pine Street, in the Fontainebleau neighborhood. The sibling left the church, got into his car with two relatives, and attempted to leave, police said.
What’s the difference between a dead lawyer in the road, and a dead skunk?
There’s skid marks in front of the skunk.
“Whats the difference between a dead lawyer in the road, and a dead skunk?”
The dead skunk does not leave behind a grieving family. /anti-joke cat
3 years with good behavior but the article states he has a history of mental illness and rage issues. Not a good combination in prison.
I never saw the Pillsbury Dough Boy without his Chef’s hat. He looks totally different!
Good grief! Get this guy a cheeseburger ASAP!
I knew someone here would type something like that.
LOL.
Possibly corn-fed redneck. But I do feel sorry for all involved including this misguided soul.
