Agree 100%, the Sirius Intro is really the best part of the song!
Course, I’m biased cuz I’m a red-blooded Husker for life, and they’ve been playing this intro at the start of every Husker home game the last 10-15 years. So it’s ingrained in me from that. Always liked the intro best even way before.
When the players come out on the field after it, it’s pretty spectacular and you can’t help but get fired up, even visiting fans get pumped.
I know the Huskers haven’t been in the thick of national championships (or even conference championships) for a long time, and that’s a bummer to an old Husker, but we still have an awesome football history, program, and facilities, and some day, the Huskers will rise again.
I was fortunate to see David when he was in Hollywood last month. Hi encore was Time (DSOTM) and Comfortably Numb. Amazing..
Wolfson sounds like Richard Wright in Amonia(?) Avenue.
Certainly one of my all time favorites. My wife and I sing this together, very poorly on my part, but I still like to sing it with her.
