Fantastic but it only costs all you have to pay for it.

So far, I am unaware of a single breakthrough credited to fetal stem cells. I could be wrong but everything I’ve seen credited to them have been attributed to adult stem cells.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation is helping to fund research of the use of stem cells against Parkinson’s.

Could be a real Godsend....
My wife suffered a stroke last January and everything went perfect for her/us. Small bleed vs. clot and no muscular/nerve disorders. The area involved caused some trouble getting words/sentences from her mind to her lips but it cleared up over a 6 week period and she has no residual symptoms.
We have friends/acquaintances who have suffered more severe strokes and it is heartbreaking to see the struggle to resume some sense of normalcy.

Adult, not embryonic stem cells. To date, I don't think there is a single successful application of embryonic stem cells. They are just simply too active and uncontrollable. The most successful applications I've read about so far involve a person's own stem cells.

So sorry that your mom (and dad) had to go through all of that.
I pray this therapy proves to be safe and as overwhelmingly successful as this article suggests to spare countless families from the devastation a stroke can inflict.
I heartily agree with you!
