They'll ban books but won't debate it in public.

rethinking how children are taught is not a money-makerif that was true then publishers wouldn't be so fast to change the school's curriculum every few years.

We need a petition campaign insisting that those books be burned. I bet we could 10k signatures in a week.

"any material saying climate change doesn't exist or that humans are not at fault should be removed."
NOBODY denies the existence of climate change, and I doubt there is any book anywhere that makes such a claim.
What is at issue is whether human generated CO2 is the PRIMARY driver of climate change. That is a VERY dubious claim, and it is now being sealed-off from debate.

Im 37, would someone mind telling me when the world turned upside down?
It began somewhere in the mid-1960s. That's when the left began its "long march through the institutions." It finally hit critical mass during the Obama administration.

Climate change does exist and always has. They just can’t stand the thought that it is most likely not man caused.

If Portland voters dont like the boards decision, but dont get off of their couches to voice their concern, or possibly fire the board on the next election, then that is the voters problem.

You’re a young whipper snapper. Things started changing drastically in the late 60’s. Heck, even the 70’s seem great now compared to the BS we have now. Wish I could go back.

Shouldn’t they also be required to ban books that pimp the liberals’ global warming hoax and scam?
