He has wondered about Martin's dreams, his life and the moments before he died.

Isn't that so sweet? Meanwhile, the facts on the ground indicate his dreams were to become a thug making big money from criminal gangster activity but, until he made it into that world, he had to settle for petty theft, burglary and beating the snot out of any "White Hispanic" who had the audacity to challenge him.
