You don't need to "buy" a Linux disk, though it might be simpler for you to pay a few dollars than to create an installation DVD or USB drive from a downloaded ISO file. For Linux Mint, the free operating system downloads are here: https://www.linuxmint.com/download.php
As for deporting Windows, when you install Linux you can choose whether or not to keep your Windows installation in a dual boot setup.
If you choose to overwrite your Windows installation instead of using dual boot, make sure you have all your personal data backed up to another drive.
