IMHO....we should have only "winner take all" Primaries, no conventions, no caucuses, etc. Only the voters should choose our candidates without the interference of the political class, who cannot find their way to a bathroom, when need be!!!

Right. So everyone should only try to get votes in the 9-10 biggest states (with the most delegates) and just ignore everywhere else. That's a great idea.

Amazing all the smart people here that don’t get it. The big picture problem is not rocket science to anyone who is not stuck staring at one tree so long they get so cross-eyed they think the fuzzy thing they see is the whole forest.

What happened In Colorado is indefensible on any coherent, rational, ethical, or moral ground. Everyone know this. THAT is the big picture, that is the forest - and exactly why Trump is so much more popular than any other candidate. THAT is why there is a movement like we have never before seen in American politics. Trump is blowing up the status-quo Americans have HATED for so long. And Colorado gave him more ammunition in that fight for freedom from establishment elitists cramming what they want down our throats.

Trump is blowing this up, don’t kid yourself. Be objective and observe. The firestorm over Colorado is just starting. Trump reaches 7 million on twitter and another 7 on facebook. With retweets and shares he can reach 10 million in minutes. And that is exactly what he’s been doing. For the traditionalists Trumps doing pressers. Drudge has had two front page articles on the corruption.

You cannot pull a Colorado and get by with it in the information age. You are livin’ in the past if you think you can.

Interesting your use of Lincoln for the quote. He was far behind Seward on the first ballot at the national convention. Behind again on the second ballot. Was short by two votes on the third ballot, but 3 people switched over to Lincoln and then a bunch more switched over to be on the winning side of Lincoln for a “corrected” third ballot. (Not sure why they didn’t call for a fourth ballot.)
