Cruz is picking up on what may be happening in Ohio.
I’m getting emails and heard at least some discussion on TV.
They’re seeing exit polling, I’ll bet.
He has realized too late how much social conservatives in Ohio do not support Kasich.
I just got an email from Ohio Inside Politics, an arm of Reagan Reports (MIchael Reagan?) that says “a vote for Kasich is a vote for Trump”.
They’re all in for Cruz
Can you be more specific about what Cruz is “picking up on” with OH?
social conservatives supporting Cruz
southern Ohio rural and suburban social conservatives
I think Rush is right, LS. Kasich and Rubio want to stay in no matter what to hurt both Trump and Cruz. I heard Glenn Beck say that if they stay in it hurts Cruz. Beck said this morning that the big news is whether they stay in the race or get out. Cruz people feel if they get out he has a chance one on one with Trump. If they stay in he loses.

“You didnt believe the bad press Ronald Reagan got?”
No. I loved Reagan and I was even a college bound Cosmo reading woman.
I was leaning Trump but a little nervous about him. I kept hoping Rubio or Cruz would sway me. They could have really won over nervous supporters of Trump if they didn’t have little Jebbie’s and the GOP elites’s secret pow wow rattling around in their brains.
Don’t be nervous about Trump. If you look back at Reagan there are a lot of similarities. They’re certainly not identical but Reagan said the university disruptors should be grabbed by the scruff of their necks and tossed out of the school.
All the negative press is hard to get past but know this, it’s Donald Trump or business as usual. He’s the only one capable of fighting such overwhelming odds.
The Constitution guarantees the freedom of speech. It does not guarantee an audience.
I think they're whistling past the graveyard.
It’s supposed to guarantee the ability to elect a representative government.
I don’t recall reading anything about the GOP and superdelegates.
My point is, even Reagan got bad press.
Trump, Cruz, anybody other than who the media wants will get bad press.
It’s what they do.
Me, too. After tonight, Cruz will need about 800 of the remaining 1000 delegates to win outright. That won’t happen if Trump stays in the race, and something tells me tonight won’t make Trump drop out of the race.
“My point is, even Reagan got bad press”
Exactly. This election has really made it clear that all of the media is biased and it’s difficult to believe that you are getting the whole truth from any of them. It’s really important to look beyond what the media, radio talk shows and online news outlets report.
Take for example, the “failed business, bankruptcy” issue.
Take a look at Jeff Bezos, Amazon founder. They have many side businesses that have gone bankrupt, and Amazon invests money back into the company, so it shows very little profit.
I looked into it, Trump did this with the Casino biz, he used it to fund other startup businesses, some succeeded, some did not.
This is the way free enterprise works....
My first presidential vote was for the gipper in 84. I voted for Bush 41 in 1988 and for Bush 43 in 2000, did I get fooled on those two. The rest were votes against the Democrats.
At this point people vote for the winner or principles, that does not leave Kasich much of a chance.
Trump will have to win OH big to overcome Kasich’s early voting lead and fraud. But if anyone can do it, Trump can.
