Hey Gina, I’m listening to the Lux from 2/14 which I fell asleep to before it ended. Rob had this speech about a listener who passed and he weaved in a poetic quote about a forest renewing the soul of man and related it to the BB shows. It was something, he’s starting to develop his own strong voice, I expect he’s going to be the permanent host. Anyway, night.

Yeah, Keith and I also figure he’s there to stay. I really, REALLY wish he didn’t have that glaring speech impediment. It makes it so hard to listen to him.

lol, you’re a true professional. I can’t tell that he has one. If you asked me I’d say he over enunciates. When I think of an impediment I think stuttering or a lisp. I’ve even tried to listen for one can’t detect it.

I truly don't know how you can't hear it. It drives me and Keith crazy, and Keith is not a professional. It's just that obvious. He doesn't over-enunciate. It's like a lisp. He pronounces his hard Ts and Ds as "Th," so when he says "radio," it comes out as "rathio," and when he says "Forty" and "Thirty," for instance, they come out as "Forthy" and "Thirthy." It's GLARING, and it affects so much of what he says that it's hard to focus on what he's saying, because of that horribly distracting "lisp," or whatever we might call it.

Just listened to two openings, his tempo is extremely measured, probably to cover up a speech impediment.

He doesn’t cover it at all. It blasts through the speakers.
