Sorry but I spoke with Mrs. Schlafly two weeks ago to ask her to rescind her support of Trump. She said SHE HAS NOT ENDORSED HIM — she termed it media false reports. Tough luck.

I don’t see that .. unless you figure that the Senate would not confirm Cruz (which is possible); and it might be possible Obama would arrange that with McConnell and Reid.
But .. since Cruz is running for Pres, I don’t see him wanting to give that up to be on the Supreme Court - at least not until after he’s been President.
Actually, I suspect Obama will appoint an extreme LIBERAL .. thereby giving him a majority-proof Court upon which Obama can get everything he wants to complete his destruction of America.

But it would earn him a lot of votes. A lot of people doubt just how conservative Trump really is. How better to prove it that to put a man who knows the Court and is a firebrand.

Ted Cruz is effectively destroying our constitution by even running for President. He knows he is not eligible but runs because of his ego. If on the Supreme Court he would be guided by what he wants, not what the Constitution says.

William F. Buckley, Jr. reinvigorated the conservative movement leading to the unsuccessful campaign of Goldwater and the successful campaign of Reagan.
There are plenty of conservative heroes who deserve a lot more praise than Cruz.
