LOL
Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor, and do all your work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God. On it you shall not do any work, you, or your son, or your daughter, your male servant, or your female servant, or your livestock, or the sojourner who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
Catechism of the Catholic Church:
2176 The celebration of Sunday observes the moral commandment inscribed by nature in the human heart to render to God an outward, visible, public, and regular worship “as a sign of his universal beneficence to all. Sunday worship fulfills the moral command of the Old Covenant, taking up its rhythm and spirit in the weekly celebration of the Creator and Redeemer of his people.
Westminster Larger Catechism:
Question 116: What is required in the fourth commandment?
Answer: The fourth commandment requires of all men the sanctifying or keeping holy to God such set times as he has appointed in his Word, expressly one whole day in seven; which was the seventh from the beginning of the world to the resurrection of Christ, and the first day of the week ever since, and so to continue to the end of the world; which is the Christian sabbath, and in the New Testament called the Lord’s day.
Question 117: How is the sabbath or the Lord’s day to be sanctified?
Answer: The sabbath or Lord’s day is to be sanctified by an holy resting all the day, not only from such works as are at all times sinful, but even from such worldly employments and recreations as are on other days lawful; and making it our delight to spend the whole time (except so much of it as is to betaken up in works of necessity and mercy) in the public and private exercises of God’s worship: and, to that end, we are to prepare our hearts, and with such foresight, diligence, and moderation, to dispose and seasonably dispatch our worldly business, that we may be the more free and fit for the duties of that day.
Hopin’ the off season they can get the offensive line where they need to be. I think the defense did a fairly decent job. Oh, and Eddie needs to shed a few pounds. Painful to watch him run (almost as painful as watching me run) for more than 20 yards.

OMAHA!
.
this year
It’s only a game, no bets here..
Sunny and breezy here just a few miles East of Levi’s,, not much air traffic. No chemtrails today, oddly enough (The last few days they were spraying early and often) ;-)
Haven’t seen the blimp yet.. May have to climb on the roof and take a gander that direction later and listen for halftime show.. God help those who get stuck in traffic later.
Peace and out.
I read that Beyoncé intends to turn halftime into a Black Lives Matter rally.
Aren’t we being callous toward those with concussions by watching this....being part of the problem, rather than the solution? /s
I’m not really into it this time, I may check in on the game every once in awhile, but if it’s the blowout I expect it will be, I probably won’t even bother.
Denver needs turnovers and for the receivers to hold on to the ball. Some games looked like the ball had grease on it.
I must have missed it. When did they stop using Roman numerals for the Super Bowl?
Only for this year. Next year they revert to the Roman numerals.
Umm...I predict it will be close until 1st and 10 in the bottom of the ninth, when Manning will score a hat trick.
Yeah, I don’t know a whole lot about sports. :-)
Yeah, that was yesterday. :-)
“Denver by 10 pts.
That would be fine, but it’s a tall order. I’d like to see Manning get another ring, though - and I’m a Seahawk fan.”
We just hope Denver wins, we would like to see Peyton get another ring and retire. Fans of Eli, Peyton and Archie. Go Giants, Go Broncos.
Booooo. :-(
Oh, is that today? Good to know, great day to get out & do things while most everyone else is huddled indoors.
This will be Manning’s last game of professional football. And it comes a year too late. Denver’s defense and Sanders and the only reason they are in the Supper Bowl.
Oh, and Denver by 10. Panther’s had a very easy schedule, it was like 29th hardest in the league. Denver had the 8th hardest. This will clearly show throughout the game.
Football is for guys that can’t skate.
“I read that Beyoncé intends to turn halftime into a Black Lives Matter rally.”
At half time, I’ll eat a slab of the ribs I’m cooking and wash them down with a cold St. Pauli Girl.
