He meant that he’d found the right place to be politically.

I don’t think I had heard the term “sweet spot” before.

Pipelines are a special case. We have pipeline ROWs all around us; the landowners still have free use of them for grazing cattle, etc...
All they lose is any timber growing on the ROW -- and they are paid full value for it. Not a bad deal!

Cruz has a photographic memory and a massive internal database.
Too bad others don't pause to think before they speak (or post)...

Surely he wouldn’t try something that absurd.....especially after the Carson caucus debacle.
Maybe he his thoughts were haywired ;-)

Yep....it was perfect.
Funny how CRuzer’s are (the only ones) having hissies about this, and NOT about the caucus deception.

Check the link in the bottom right-hand corner.
Just joking around. Nothing serious.
And I do wish you well, success and Godspeed while dodging flying carrots and holey mackerels.

Yeh CNN was body slamming Cruz after the debate. He should have given Carson a short sincere apology and moved on. Big mistake.

Had second thoughts about posting smallest text size, went ahead and did it anyway. Sorry 'bout that.
You may need to select translate from binary where it says "text". There is a menu there that was not exactly obvious to me at first.

But they go to PRIVATE REFINERIES.
So, it’s okay to benefit private oil companies and use eminent domain. Right?

Generally used in tennis or baseball. It would be hitting the ball with the very center of the racket or hitting the baseball in the very center of the barrel end of the bat.

Good analysis chaplain. I have it as follows.
1. Cruz, A-
1.Trump, A-
3. Christie, B+
4. Rubio, B-
5. Carson, C+
6. Kasich, C
7. Bush, D
(I thought this was by far Trump’s best debate performance)

I think he always looks frightened as if he is afraid to say the wrong thing. Everything he tries to say (emphasis on tries) he fumbles the phrasing and seems insincere. Looks like he’s going through the motions.
It is quite a juxtaposition to Trump who isn’t afraid say anything, and Cruz who is passionate and eloquent.

He seems awfully eager to get our troops into another war
He’s ready to get a redo on the Arab Spring in Libya
And his pro-life position is all about being in the “sweet spot” politically.
Like you say, he fumbles half of his lines.

I just donât find that Kasich or Carson ever really âsay anythingâ that strikes a chord or that I can easily recall what they said.I'm beginning to believe that Carson is just in the race to split up the conservative vote, the evangelical vote and the "outsider" vote.
He is not putting in much effort to campaign on the road, has already suspended campaigning a few times but yet does not drop out even though everyone knows he has zero chance of winning.
I'm wondering if his announcement that he was going home and not campaigning at all in New Hampshire all week was not a gaffe or incompetence but rather an intentional tactic to cause controversy and garner attention, a "dirty trick" of his own so to speak.
At least Carly Fiorina adds something of substance to the debates and she should have been there last night before Carson.
Kasich may be a decent governor but he doesn't seem to be more of a manager than a leader.
