How is that false advertising? I can choose to make my donation or change my mind if I don’t want my $ going thru Trump’s foundation, but I feel more comfortable than having it go thru a donation site (i.e., gofundme) that takes its % off the top. Does anyone, anyone on earth, think that Trump is directing those funds for his own use? Or his foundation’s own use?

I have read today that Trump has donated $57,000 of his $10,000,000,000 to veterans’ causes throughout his 69 years. That’s a whopping .0000057% of his wealth!

Doesn’t want to pay their administrative costs and salaries perhaps?
No, no, the billionaire wants to keep all the money for himself and let the vets starve, I’m sure!

I don’t think that Trump would steal it for personal use. However, in the past, the Donald J. Trump foundation has donated more to the Clinton Foundation than it did to veterans. Here is the key quote from the article.
“... According to a recent analysis of the organizationâs spending history by the Weekly Standard, Trumpâs non-profit donated more money to the Clinton Foundation than it did to veterans causes.
Between 2009 and 2013, Trumpâs non-profit donated between $100,001 and $250,000 to the Clinton Foundation. Over the same period of time, Trumpâs group gave only $57,000 to veterans groups...”

Good. I know it will get distributed properly. It’s a certainty TRUMP doesn’t need it for food, shelter or transportation.
Thankfully.

Since this is so, donations will not go directly to veterans' support, as promised. However, it is to be hoped that all donations will go indirectly (through the foundation) to veterans' causes.

Aha! The Donald takes the tax credit for "humanitarian cause" and you get - a donation to "The Donald Trump Foundation?"
Maybe I could get the same warm and fuzzy feeling if I donated to the "Clinton Family Foundation!"
