the silence from trump is deafening. He can get up early and launch tweet attacks on Cruz but is silent on the anniversary of legal mass murder
Exactly!
Where are his priorities?!?!

Here are some of the things that Cruz has already done to fight for the pro-life cause.
1. Fought to take away taxpayer dollars from Planned Parenthood.
2. Led the charge on behalf of 13 states to successfully defend a federal law that bans partial birth abortion before the U.S. Supreme Court.
3. Advocated for an investigation into abortion practices in the U.S. to prevent the atrocities witnessed in Kermit Gosnellââ¬â¢s facility from ever happening again.
4. Joined 18 states in successfully defending the New Hampshire parental-notification law before the U.S. Supreme Court.
5. Successfully defended Texas Rider 8, which prohibits state funds for groups that provide abortions.

Cruz is a genuine pro life champion and no one in the prolife movement doubts that.I don't doubt that at all. I just don't give much credence to symbolic acts.
I've been loving how the states are going after the clinics and getting them shut down. It has been the most effective means of addressing the issue. It points out the absolute hypocrisy of the abortion crowd.
We'd love the utopian world where the Supreme Court would overturn Roe V. Wade but the court can not be counted on to issue a ruling that the sky is blue.
Go, States, Go!

This argument has been going on for decades. Guess what unless the Supreme Court decides to change their ruling on roe v wade nothing changes. Trump does not have the power to change it or gay marriage. What did GW Bush do about it? What did 41 do about it?
Why is that the supporters of Trump constantly make use of deceptive debating techniques?
Nice use of deflection there GG2.
That post did nothing to refute the FACT that Trump is pro-abortion. Like most Trump supporters, you just made another excuse for one of the most glaring short-comings of Trump.
How so unexpected.

Hey, you can try and use the abortion issue all you want, it is not a factor this time around.
Abortion is the greatest sin of this nation no doubt, but it just isn’t an issue, the country is in danger of being aborted.

just isnât an issue, the country is in danger of being aborted.
When more than 50% of the nation is Pro-Life then it is most certainly an issue.
But you keep those Pro-Trump blinders on Ron, good luck with that.
From a conservative perspective, from a moral perspective, Abortion IS the most important principle, and you just proved that your fidelity to that principle is negotiable.
How do you do that?

If that’s the issue that matters most to you in 2016, then by all means, make your decision based on that.
I’m not concerned with litmus tests any longer.
Marco Rubio says he’s all about that, I recommend you consider voting for him. I’m sure he’ll end the practice on day one.

Our nation is rotting from the inside out. Do you think we can save it while letting it completely lose its soul. Do you think that God will bless a nation that kills its own children.

No! I won’t shut up.
Trumps a waffling NY limousine Liberal with a lifetime of actions to prove it.
He’s a coward that hides behind smears and hit and run bully tactics.
A sitting senator from Iowa called him out on the issue today and he is too busy posting white extremist and Russian Soldier photos on his twitter site to address it on the ruling anniversary.

You need to change congress a lot more before you can make progress on abortion.
No, you need a POTUS who will defend Life no matter what gets thrown at him from congress and who nominate Supreme Court justices that are staunchly Pro-Life.
You will not get anything like that from Trump.
Mark up another excuse made for a failing of Trump.

So did all other GOP candidates speak out or are we just picking on Trump? Here's a statement from Ted Cruz:

Normally we would be picking on Sanders and Clinton too, except that those two Democrats aren't seeking the GOP nomination like Trump is.

Cruz was a law clerk for William Rehnquist one of the two Justices who dissented on Roe v Wade. He isn’t likely to make a mistake in nominating Justices. The suggestion that he would is absurd.
Clinton and Obama were lawyers. The Justices they chose vote the way they were expected to vote.
Who would Trump appoint? I have no idea and I bet he doesn’t either.

Point of Fact H. Appointed Souter after being talked into it by two Major RINO politicians. Warren Rudman and John Sunnunu
Anyone Care to bet who those two turd blossoms will support?
