Well he is in the majority now.....so since majority, has he passed any bills? I know you love to give this dude a pass all the time.....not sure why? But at least give us one bill he started from beginning to end that he was able to convince at LEAST the Republicans to pass. I don’t see how you believe he can do this as President if he was unable to as Senator. Doesn’t make sense.

There is not one current GOP Senator you could name that had a very good record at that.

Why don’t you name some who did?

BTW, you can get all the bills you sponsor passed and still be wrong 99% of the time, like Ted Kennedy in his +40 years of being in the Senate.

Just getting bills passed is not the correct criteria. It is supporting the RIGHT bills, whether they get passed or not.

It appears that these Republicans are so blinded by their personal hatred of Cruz that they've convinced themselves that the party would be better off choosing somebody who represents everything they claim to abhor.

Cutting off nose to spite face. Irrational hatred kills. It's slowly eating away at the GOPe and they don't even recognize it. Reminds me of the monster in one of Frank Peretti's books.
