Adding an Umbrella holder in case they ever run into Obama.

Instead of backpacks they will be carrying manbags.

I am pretty positive some of the previous posters didn’t read the article.

I like the ides of adopting a new dress blue coat for women.
The whole Marine Corps should look like Leathernecks. The headgear, at least is an improvement over the female Marine *metermaid* hat.
And for the army, there's always George S. Patton's idea of what the well-dressed tank crewdawg should wear.

Instead of backpacks they will be carrying manbags. Please! The aviators refer to those as helmet bags.

Didn't see this posted. Not having served in the military, I don't know what this means. I have served, and I have a lot of doubts about what it means. Bad enough the Clinton years gave everybody the Monica beret.
And it gives the term joint services a whole new meaning....
And it reminds me of something...similar... from a few decades past....

Designing new uniforms for transgendered Marines will prove challenging. As an old tank crewdawg since the mid-1960s, I think I have just the thing:

Pink/yellow/blue camo.... Be REAL careful about that for which you ask:

Why? Were the BAMs complaining that they were too heavy again? Why did they order that combat jobs aboard Navy ships should be opened to women?
Asking foir sheep would have been too obvious.

That reminds me of the old Blackhawks comic book uniforms.

That reminds me of the old Blackhawks comic book uniforms. Bib-front uniform shell jackets and shirt tunics are nothing new to the US military. The cavalry had 'em back in the day, and Hollywood keeps reminding us of that. The Confederate outfits, based on the French, were a little more stylish.
