"I have a real question as to whether or not both sides want to make it," Trump told The Associated Press, clarifying that he has more concerns regarding "one side in particular."
"A lot will have to do with Israel and whether or not Israel wants to make the deal , whether or not Israel's willing to sacrifice certain things," Trump said. "They may not be, and I understand that, and I'm OK with that. But then you're just not going to have a deal."
We were just talking about this on a related thread. I recommend watching Trump speak for himself in his own words. Seems the lying from the press/pundits is ramping up something awful.
I was just reading Nehemiah and saw that even though he managed, with God’s help, to talk the King into restoring Jerusalem, the Arabs back then objected and plotted to kill the wall builders. The Jews heard about the plot and put half their men armed to guard and be ready to fight while the other half worked feverishly to rebuild the walls.
Nehemiah told the Arabs, that they have no claim to ownership of Jerusalem! The city belonged to the Jews!

I’m tired of America being Israel’s big brother, too, and I completely distrust the “peace” process that American presidents have been pushing on us for two decades, now. It’s just as stupid as your friend pushing the same ugly girl on you for the duration of the party, even though you tried dancing with her, you tried being nice, and she keeps on making scenes and playing mind games with you, and here comes your friend trying to push her on you again.
But let’s stick to the facts. America has not gone to war for Israel. Not ever. If America ever were inclined to do such a stupid thing, it would be rebuffed. By Israel, and especially by this American ex expatriate, Israeli citizen.

Oh for heaven’s sake. Trump will not “screw over” Israel, except in your own head. He will be a great champion of Israel, as you will find out.
All I have to go by are the recent words emanating from his own lips.
I don’t need a lecture on Trump. I was for Trump THE DAY HE ANNOUNCED. And I took a little ribbing from some of the stalwarts here on FR, too. I’m still for Trump. But what he said this week was so out of step with everything else I THOUGHT he stood for, it really torqued my jaws down tight; about 100 ft. lbs. to be exact.

Well, de-torque yourself, lol. You’ll love how President Trump will work with and in support of Israel. Bibi and Donald are friends. Trump is pro-Israel, pro-Bibi, and not that fond of Muzzies. Not to worry. You’ll see. Bibi even asked his friend Trump to do an Ad for him when Bibi was up for re-election, which Trump willingly did.
Well, to quote old El Rushbo, “Words mean things.” And I don’t like the words Trump spit out last week. It’s simply a mystery to me why Trump would utter those words....that Israel is going to have to GIVE UP some things!
What a crock! God gave that whole area to Israel, in perpetuity! I wonder if Presbyterians understand God’s eternal relationship with Israel?
Well, knock me over with a cotton ball! This evening FNC reported that Trump sez Israel will need to make some sacrifices to achieve “peace”. No mention was made as to what sacrifices the ragheads will have to make.

Well, if Trump, whom I’ve rooted for since he came down the Trump Tower escalator to announce his candidacy, is going to step on his willie, I’d prefer her do it BEFORE we get deep into the campaign.
I really like Trump, but arm twisting Netanyahu is a deal breaker for me.
