I got my first 10-22 probably in 1973. There was a pawn shop within walking distance of our house in Tulsa. It was used but like new.
Back then they all had walnut stocks. Not fancy walnut but still walnut. Mine was reasonably accurate but my old Remington model 513 would beat it. It would beat the new ones too but I have always liked the 10-22.
I think my next one, if I can ever get the money together will be a stainless one with a synthetic stock. I noticed the local Wal-Mart has one. Can’t recall the price tho.

I didn’t play Skyrim much. But Fallout 4 is just two awesome. All the stuff that goes on is incredible. I had to add liquid cooling to keep my CPU under 65C when I play. By comparison, ESO and Skyrim only made it hit 60C during combat. FO4 would take it straight to 65C and then the CPU would derate to keep temperature from going higher.

Very cute! I grabbed one of the stainless take down models a while back. I’m a huge fan of the 10-22. The take down lives next to the spare tire in my truck.
FYI the Ruger 25 round mags work flawlessly. Grab some while you can.

I installed LC when I built my current box. One of the prefab systems though, not a custom deal. Glad I did. Just upgraded from an older Asus 7590 Radeon HD2 to a Strix R9 390. Finally saw it slow down in a city raider war with all settings maxed.
Yup, F4 is something to behold. I have played Sky fully modded for a couple years in great depth and in stock trim, F4 has mechanics that not even mods could give Skyrim. I can’t wait to see what the modders come up with.

I had a friend in the late 80s that had some of those IIRC 100 round cylinder mags they used to make. They were very cool...when they didn’t jam.
My older son was bored one day.
