It killed some hostages and terrorists, but it knocked out several more. While they were unconscious, Russian soldiers shot every single terrorist in the head.

I can see here how all of you are enthusiastic about Putin.
We have to keep in mind though that the enemy of our enemy is not necessarily our friend. Russia has been the greatest menace to all of us during the cold war. It wanted to spread communism all over the world. Its KGB killed many of our western spies. Putin was deeply rooted in that KGB, and member of the communist party.
As I have said before here, its good that Putin help us attack the islamic nihilists, we must work together on this one. But, i will not succumb to and say how “wonderful” he is as many here seem to say. One day Russia may come to hunt us here in the western world, and when that happens the kind words we have for home him today will come to an abrupt end.
We must remain vigilant. I have read the russian propaganda press these last 5 years, The Pravda among others...and God... its hateful towards America. Guys we must remain vigilant.
No lets hope for a republican president and a change when it comes to our rules of engagement so we can once and for all shake the ground under the salafists’ feet!

The Russians should wait until all the “rescue operations” are taking place, to hit them again - thus killing all their emergency personnel, etc ... Wipe them all out - down to the last soul - and I would be quite satisfied to see Turkey nuked into oblivion.

It does appear that Russia is taking the steps necessary to both make it clear that their leaders don’t take kindly to having their jets shot down, while at the same taking the needed to steps to prevent escalation.
