I would vote that ticket in a heartbeat
Misleading headline, and don’t expect anything less from the media.
Cruz needs to drop out of the race, and take Jeb, Rubio, etc. with him.
This is yesterday’s news and poppycock. Mr. Cruz won’t be anyone’s VP. Last one Trump mentioned was Palin.

This is a third tier rag jumping to conclusions. This has also been reported before.
Cruz does not even belong in the same sentence as Jeb and Rubio. Try sending a pant load like that to Jim Robinson and you’ll get your arse flamed.
I want to see Cruz as President, but I’m patient. Cruz as VP for 4 years, President for 8 and 35 years or more on the Supreme Court doesn’t sound bad. I’m not giving up on Cruz’s winning the nomination outright, but that’s not a bad contingency plan.
Right Wing News is one of the top conservative sites in the country.
So far I’ve been predicting Trump/Cruz vs. Biden/Pocahontas.
Hillary will get the nomination and the emperor will throw her under the chariot (indictment and or health problems). Biden will step in and save the day without having to play the annoying primary games.
Cruz isn’t qualified to be President of the United States.
If he keeps this vanity up, then he may be in jeopardy of losing his Senate seat, and that isn’t something I personally wish to happen.
“Right Wing News is one of the top conservative sites in the country.”
Yet, they jump to conclusions and fail to provide a proper headline? OK. Not my definition of “top” of anything.
“Cruz isnât qualified to be President of the United States.”
Sayz you! Big deal.
Trump as an executive buys a business, he hasn't a clue of the internal workings of this business. So who does he hire to advise and rule the workings of this entity, an insider with Ideas similar to his own.
If this happens I win some bets.
He did not “float the idea” absolutely. This is bogus.
Laura tried to get him to say it and he would not.
Or, he ain't that stupid! Look at his commanding lead over Cruz in the polls. Why would he accept 2nd tier? I'd rather have Cruz as President too, but Trump has traction and isn't going to needlessly fall on a knife for another candidate.
Projection BIG TIME. The writer plays with the voters dim enough to buy into this.
Chances are that Cruz on a Trump ticket would actually hurt Trump’s chances in the general election, and never mind that Cruz can’t stay out of single digits for 24 hours until he falls right back into them overnight, on some poll or another.
No where, no way did Trump even consider Cruz.
He said he liked him.
He said Cruz has agreed with him.
He has said he may have to go after him.
PUHLEEZE, Ms. Hamilton. You blow smoke to hurt the Trump ticket in the general.
I figure it will be Trump-Sessions, 2016.
Sessions has kept his head down and his nose clean and is the research sage of the senate. And, an advisor to Trump. Sessions has endorsed NO ONE.
This claim is overreaching and now floating for several days by people desperate for anything to keep Cruz around. Trump did NOT name Cruz as his VP and very likely will not. Cruz should drop out, he cannot win the nomination and his positions are bad—amnesty, support TPP and Iran deals, until this week supported 500% increase in H1B, etc. I would never vote for him and I really think Trump has more sense than pick him as he offers nothing for the ticket. Tell me one vote he gets with Trump that he wouldn’t otherwise?

****************
Don’t know who it will be but I do believe it won’t be one of current crop of candidates.
He’s got to get someone that will help the ticket and bring in some outside votes. Basically
the race will be decided in maybe 8 - 10 states or less. So look for someone that can be an
asset or help in those states as viewed by the Trump campaign.
Wiff!!!! My fault. Let me put it another way.
Should Cruz win and invite Trump to be his VP, I doubt Trump would accept.
His positions are in line with Trump’s as Trump said 100%. Cruz is not dropping out. He will go all the way. And he does not support TPP. The entire law enforcement section of his immigration policy is about deportation end enforcing current immigration law, so he also does not support amnesty. You don’t like Cruz, fine, but stop misrepresenting his positions.
I don’t see a path to Cruz overtaking Trump. But I have been hoping Trump would take Ted along for an excellent adventure in Washington, DC. :-)
