Trump's campaign tactics make it easier to envision how awful his presidency would be, but the vagueness of Carson's policy positions and general ignorance on all pressing issues can make Carson's potential future harder to envision, yet equally as troubling.Carson's not an idiot but I'm not so sure about the author.

Clumsy writing.
Uses words he doesn’t understand.
Ex.
“Reality takes precedent”
Precedence, not precedent
Makes me feel like editing the whole thing. It would be half as long.

Carson is not stupid. Just ignorant about certain national issues and foreign policy. There is a difference.
And I really despise all the personal attacks going on against some of the other non-Trump Republican candidates. The nastiness I saw yesterday concerning Jindal was just over the top.

Is there a particular reason you listed this as a Hot Air piece and not a Daily Beast piece? This is written by an ultra liberal race pimp from the Beast——what are you doing here?

He’s an idiot because he doesn’t have craftily sculptured answers given to him by his handlers.

He isn’t an idiot, but he’s woefully over his head in the run to the presidency. His being in the race blocks the way for a true conservative candidate like Cruz to coalesce around.

“The guy is as dumb as a bag of rocks.”
.....says the ‘journalist’ about an accomplished brain surgeon. LOL
I have no love for Dr. Ban Carson but to see a yo-yo like this say that he is as dumb as a bag of rocks is quite amusing.

Just like in the case of Obama, affirmative action policies are destroying our military, government, and services. The Post Office's problems can be traced to hiring policies. Obama and Carson are suspect with respect to intelligence due to the affirmative action policies. In professional school, the black minorities were given passes at almost every turn whereas the Asian and others were graded evenly.
To: conservativejoy
Because he’s not an idiot. He does, however, have some rather odd beliefs and ideas that definitely turn me off voting for him for president.

See Obama 2008/2012+. Duh.

Life becomes incredibly simple because all of its problems can be solved through determination, hard work, and an unwavering belief in God. The great majority of the world's problems can be solved with those three, yes. "Hard work" sometimes includes violence, too. Progs do not like determination, hard work, or belief in God, hence the dismissal here.

Why Wont People Just Call Ben Carson the Idiot He Clearly Is?I think the New York Times just did.

People foolish enough to call Dr. Ben Carson an idiot out themselves as either clueless or so politically petty as to be part of the problem with our political system.
