Was a ‘66. I waited a full year for it to be built for me....ahhhh...those were the days. But in hind sight, I should have kept it....but it was hardly a practical car. Gobs of fun, but not practical.
When you mentioned Bentley ...It reminded me of a good friend who was a very successful trial lawyer in Boston...was at dinner at his house and he showed me his Bentley; then he handed me the keys; *Go take it for a drive* .....I don’t remember what model it was but he said he had just got it back from England. He shipped it over to get the upholstery redone. Money was nothing to him.
I, OTOH, freak out if gas goes up a nickel. >;-0
I hear you. I hate that I have to replace all 4 tires when 1 or 2 go bad. They told me they would not guarantee the tires unless I buy 4. Was I scammed? : (

I tend to like practical except when it comes to toys and whisky. The Cayenne is fun and practical. A vintage 911 is one hell of a toy that might occasionally be used in a practical manner. Some times you just gotta have some fun.
Yes!!
whatever...........
That could work :-)
You are right ! Also I started liking Subaruâs features , definitely not looks though. Yet, there is a fair chance that I might go with one.
We have a 2007 RAV4, which we purchased new. The one knock against it is that the bill to replace the water pump was $700! I’ve replaced perhaps half a dozen water pumps on various cars I’ve owned in my lifetime. Usual cost was $40 - $50. You almost enjoyed it when they went out because it was a job you could do yourself in an hour and save some money. But $700 to replace the water pump on our RAV4???!!! You see, you’ve gotta drop the engine to get to the water pump. Dumb.
Thank you all very much FRiends! I appreciate your time spent on this and valuable and reliable feedback!
