The campaign is a marathon, not a sprint. While other candidates jockey for first, Cruz is comfortable in the back of the pack, slowly moving up. He is perfectly positioned in the top 4 right now. Once the debates are winnowed down to the top 4 candidates you will see him make his move and rise to the top.
Yeah, and that’s what they said about Ronald Reagan too.
Too bad you feel that way. He’s got my vote.
Ted is reaching out to the grassroots. He is not a scheming martyr but more of an intelligent planner. He is personable and quite likable to those of us with similar morals and conservative values. I've seen him speak many times in person and he gives me hope that our country can be restored in a civil and lawful manner.
Sounds like a preacher and that is not good for politician. His positions and hypocrisy are unacceptable.
I'm not voting for someone based on how he sounds or looks, but what he believes. Ted's positions overtime have been consistent with how he believes. He does not oscillate between this and that depending on what the Washington Cartel think of him. Ted is the opposite of hypocrisy. He tells it like it is. He has told us what he will do if elected POTUS and I like what I hear so far. He has the skills and leadership to be the next POTUS. So I'm sticking with Ted Cruz until convinced otherwise. BTW, who do you support?
I believe Cruz is truly the next Ronald Reagan, and I am thrilled to say that.
I’m looking forward to another debate. He always moves up when people get a chance to actually listen to him. He has my vote if I get the chance to give it to him! Still my favorite candidate!
Cruz voted for TPP.
There’s your reality.
And yet the country will most likely evite him this time ...
The vote has not happened on TPP and won’t for at least 85 more days. Cruz voted against Fast Track (TPA).
They certainly did. Ted has that same ability to get them running scared.
Also, “Hes been an erudite fundraiser.” ????
The RINOs in the Congress have been scurrying around for months at the prospect of Cruz as the Republican candidate. :-)
Yep. Boehner singled out Cruz with a nasty remark for a reason.
My mistake. But I thought he voted FOR TPA?
No, the final bill that came back from the House did not have the immigration language in it that Cruz and Sessions wanted and McConnell made some back room deals on Ex-Im to get more votes, so Cruz voted “No”.
Exactly.
Shockingly, a lot of FReepers fall into this category.
Trump wants to legalize foreign students when they graduate. About 1/4 million graduate from our universities every year. Trump just doesn't call them H1B visas, but it would be equivalent.
Very true.
