Logano wrecked Matt. Matt wrecked Joey. Deal with it.

I saw Kenseth give Logano, who was running much slower, a bump to get by. It didn’t look like any big deal to me. It’s short track racing, that’s how it works.

Not quite the same:

After Joey Logano and Matt Kenseth tangled while racing for the lead two weekends ago at Kansas Speedway, NASCAR chairman and CEO Brian France called the incident “a great example of everybody doing probably exactly what they should be doing.”

But after Sunday’s Chase race at Martinsville Speedway, where Kenseth dumped Logano in what appeared to be obvious payback for their Kansas dust-up, NASCAR may have a different perspective.

Unlike the Kansas wreck in which Logano knocked Kenseth out of the way as the two battled hard for an all-important win in the closing laps, Sunday’s collision came as Logano led and Kenseth nursed a slow and badly damaged car around the track after being involved in a separate wreck a few laps earlier.

But as long as Jeff Gordon wins the championship NASCAR will be happy.

How NASCAR sees it is one thing. Then there is reality. If NASCAR chooses to see the two scenarios as different, they will continue to lose many, many fans.

we must remember that "professional sports" are entertainment, and the people that own the leagues...one family in the case of Nascar...can make any rules or break any rules they want in order to make a certain guy win(like Junior after his father died)_

I think people will eventually stop watching Nascar because they change the rules at a whim, and they certainly do favor certain drivers....
