We old-timer Applesoft BASIC programmers love our Boolean branching.

And one ‘poof’ from Iran or the Norks and all that ‘logic’ is fried. Would have been better not to have it in the first place, rather than wait around like SITTING DUCKS for that day.

I do not think it is at all likely to find work in the technology fields without learning Boolean Algebra. It certainly wasn’t back in the late seventies.
The claims he was obscure don’t pass muster.

There are 10 kinds of people in the World. Those who understand binary and those who don’t.
Sorry, I couldn’t resist.

There are 10 kinds of people in the World. Those who understand binary and those who dont. "And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do:
and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech" (Gen. 11:6-7).
Binary applications is the one global unifying language that is essentially overcoming those restraints.
