The archaeologists and the other scientists associated with the project are doing the speculating. I was only explaining how their speculation would work, especially in the context of the Tunguska and very recent Chelyabinsk events. As far as the question of whether or not supernatural forces are responsible for the destruction of this city, whether or not it is Sodom, those persons who happen to believe a supernatural force was responsible for the destruction can still conclude a comet or asteroid was moved to do so by a supernatural force. I’m not taking any position one way or another on the subject, and this is still a subject in the early stages of some rather interesting research regardless of the final conclusions.
