Selfie deaths have become so rife in Russia that the government released a guide detailing how not to die while taking a picture of yourself. In the guide, it is advised that selfie takers don't balance on dangerous surfaces or pose with loaded weapons, among other tips. Russians are big on viral memes, it seems. I've seen countless staged Russian photos of a guy hanging off the porch of a skyrise apartment building while a jealous husband/boyfriend holds a shotgun out the window. I don't see Annette, I mean a net, in any of these pictures.

You may be more afraid of sharks than selfies, but actually statistically the latter is more deadly.
That may be true, but is it more likely if you’re using a apple phone or one running an OS bought by MS (they still exist, right?)?
