Windows 10 begins to eat into Windows 7's usage share

I find it really hard to believe- even if the UEFI or BIOS became corrupted there’s always a way to get it back up and running.

remove it? depends on how paranoid you are.
I removed them from my windows 7 box.

I also turned off reporting on my Win10 box.

I turned off tracking services on my Win7 box and i also removed the diag tracking files

Did you remove these four updates: KB3068708, KB3022345, KB3075249, and KB3080149?

Believe me, you DON'T want to switch from 7 to 10. My main desktop running 7 croaked, so I had to replace it. Unfortunately, the new Dell I purchased came with Windows 10 factory installed. The ONLY good thing about Windows 10 is that it is not Windows 8.

I am investigating whether this new machine is still "7" compatible. If yes, I will buy a "full-install" version of 7 on Ebay, and replace 10 with it.

I have yet to find ANY feature of "10" that is superior to "7".
