Cold, not freezing will help reduce swelling, but time is the only real cure.

Does a week of surf and turf and salads sound good? Ask your doctor about increasing your protein and shellfish (zinc) intake and use of a zinc supplement and/or Vitamin C and Vitamin K topical creams. Vit Bs are the stress vitamins so that’s another Vit to ask about. An overnight stay at a nice hotel with room service is a good stress vitamin, too, and a night swim in the cool pool may help with swelling. Ask your doctor about any possible interactions with your current medications before you try anything.

Pineapple (bromelain enzyme), and parsley, witch hazel and apple cider vinegar compresses are mentioned in this article. Again, discuss with your doctor before trying:

The only cure is tincture of time. In about 2 weeks things will be back to normal. Meanwhile good make up is the only thing, but if you are a male I doubt you would want to do that.
At least you can amuse yourself by coming up with a good story how it happened, and telling everyone a different version. That oughtta keep them guessing!
