Race, I still don’t have any clue about why teenage boys of a certain persuasion wear their pants low.
Is it a mating ritual known only to them?
They certainly can’t run if they get into a bad situation.
Do their female counterparts swoon over them?
They look so stupid and immature.
To me they look like products of arrested development.

The kids think it’s cool—or to put it another way—you AIN’T cool if you do not conform. Sagging pants is the new long hair...

persuasion wear their pants low. It's a gangster thing. In prison inmates aren't allowed belts for
obvious reasons, (suicide, homicide, etc.) and their pants fall down.
It means they are simpatico with their convict brethren.
